What I Built

Project Overview

As part of a cross-functional engineering team, I contributed to the modernization of a large-scale airline booking platform serving millions of travelers across web and mobile channels. The initiative focused on migrating legacy systems toward a cloud-native architecture while improving developer productivity, deployment reliability, and customer experience.

The platform combined modern micro-frontend architecture, cloud-native backend services, content management integrations, and automated deployment pipelines to accelerate feature delivery across multiple digital channels.

My responsibilities spanned frontend engineering, backend service development, DevOps automation, cloud infrastructure, and technical assessments aimed at improving scalability and maintainability.

Modern Booking Experience

Developed customer-facing booking flows and travel management experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Micro-Frontend Architecture

Built and maintained independently deployable React and Angular applications, enabling teams to deliver features autonomously while maintaining a consistent user experience.

Cloud-Native Backend Services

Developed and deployed Node.js services responsible for aggregating backend data and supporting frontend applications.

Content-Driven Experiences

Integrated Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components into reusable frontend libraries to accelerate content delivery and marketing initiatives.

Observability & Monitoring

Implemented monitoring, logging, and operational visibility using DataDog to improve platform reliability and troubleshooting.


My Contributions

  • Developed React and Angular micro-frontends for booking, search, and customer experience workflows.
  • Wrapped Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components into reusable frontend libraries.
  • Built and deployed Node.js backend services supporting frontend applications and API orchestration.
  • Integrated GraphQL and REST APIs across multiple backend systems.
  • Containerized services using Docker and deployed workloads to Kubernetes environments.
  • Automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • Conducted architecture, code quality, and deployment pipeline assessments to identify modernization opportunities.

Adopted a micro-frontend architecture combined with cloud-native deployment practices, reusable component libraries, and automated delivery pipelines to improve scalability and team autonomy.
